3V3
The English Football Association have announced that 3v3 will be mandatory for the U7 age brackets, for all registered youth clubs in England starting in 2026/27 season.
3v3 increases ball-touches, passing, and scoring. The kids learn to be quick on their feet and to keep the ball moving fast. The format encourages players to express themselves, solve problems quickly, and develop key technical and tactical skills within a high-energy environment.

With our founder’s extensive experience living in the United States for over 15 years, and personally attending, operating, and creating 3v3 tournaments throughout that time; John Robinson Global Football brings genuine first-hand knowledge and understanding of the small-sided tournament environment and its impact on player development.

Official 3v3 Facility Partnership - GOALS
GOALS and John Robinson Global Football are proud to announce an exciting new partnership that will support the growth and development of our football 3v3 tournaments across the South of England.
GOALS are one of the UK’s leading operators of small-sided football facilities, with over 40 locations nationwide and more than 20 venues across the South of England. Their first-class centres feature dedicated 5-a-side and 7-a-side floodlit artificial pitches, modern clubhouse facilities, and meeting rooms, creating a professional and enjoyable environment for players, teams, and families.
A key part of the partnership will include the use of GOALS’ unique 3v3 AirPitch inflatable arenas, which will provide an exciting and dynamic experience for our 3v3 tournaments and training sessions.
Through this partnership, John Robinson Global Football aims to continue delivering unique football experiences, player development opportunities, and professionally organised events within outstanding facilities across the region.
